Artist's Reflection

I created this collection to ask a simple question: Who benefits when we are disconnected from our minds, bodies, and spirits?

For me, food is never just food. It reflects education, access, culture, economics, politics, and personal responsibility. Every meal is an opportunity to move toward healing or further away from it.

A Maize-ing Grace is a reminder that wellness begins with awareness. Sometimes the most radical act is choosing to nourish yourself despite the noise telling you not to.
